Submitted material definition

Submitted material means any intellectual property submitted by you to the Gateway, to be published or used by the Gateway, in any medium or combination of media (such as The Gateway print publication and The Gateway website), and includes, but is not limited to, text, articles, stories, news or opinion pieces, photographs, artwork, graphic art, comic strips, graphic design, newspaper layout, website design, software, audio, and video, but excludes any specific intellectual property developed for or licensed to the Gateway under a separate written agreement between you and the Gateway, and excludes any paid advertising; and
Submitted material means the copyrighted material submitted by a Member for inclusion in a Draft Specification, Draft Erratum, Final Specification, and/or a Final Erratum.
Submitted material means the copyrighted material submitted by a Member for inclusion in a Draft Specification and/or a Final Specification.

Examples of Submitted material in a sentence

  • Receiving identical or similar material has given rise to litigation in the past so that unless Releasees can obtain adequate protection in advance, Releasees will refuse to consider or post the Submitted Material.

  • Nothing in this Agreement, or the submission of the Submitted Material, shall be deemed to place Releasees in any worse position than any member of the public with respect to the Submitted Material.

  • Releasees shall have no obligation to read or consider the Submitted Material or to return the Submitted Material to me.

  • We are not responsible for maintaining any Submitted Material that you provide to us, and we may delete or destroy any such Submitted Material at any time.

  • Rights to Submitted Material and Confidentiality All inquiries or correspondence relating to or in reference to this RFP and all proposals submitted shall become the property of the Town of Chapin, when received, and subject to public disclosure unless exempt from disclosure by law.

  • Rights to Submitted Material: All proposals, responses, inquiries, or correspondence relating to or in reference to this RFP, and all reports charts, and other documentation submitted by proposers shall become the property of GHA when received.

  • I assume full responsibility for any loss of the Submitted Material for any reason including, without limitation, whether it is destroyed in connection with electronic submission (if permitted), mailed submission or otherwise.

  • Patent Non-Assertion set forth in the Section 1 of this IPR Policy and the license set forth in Sections 2 and 3 of this IPR Policy shall survive with respect to (a) any Final Specifications adopted prior to such termination and (b) any Submitted Material provided by the terminating Member for so long as such Submitted Material is included in one or more Final Specifications adopted after such termination.

Related to Submitted material

  • Adapted Material means material subject to Copyright and Similar Rights that is derived from or based upon the Licensed Material and in which the Licensed Material is translated, altered, arranged, transformed, or otherwise modified in a manner requiring permission under the Copyright and Similar Rights held by the Licensor. For purposes of this Public License, where the Licensed Material is a musical work, performance, or sound recording, Adapted Material is always produced where the Licensed Material is synched in timed relation with a moving image.

  • Harvested Material means the grain or fodder from crops of the Licensed Varieties grown from Seed or Retained Seed.

  • Regulated Materials means any hazardous, toxic or dangerous waste, substance or material, the generation, handling, storage, disposal, treatment or emission of which is subject to any Environmental Law.

  • Produced Material means records, software and other material, whether complete or not, that, as a result of this Agreement, are produced or provided by the Contractor or a Subcontractor and includes the Incorporated Material;

  • Received Material means records, software and other material, whether complete or not, that, as a result of this Agreement, are received by the Contractor or a Subcontractor from the Province or any other person;

  • Recycled material means any material that would otherwise be a useless, unwanted or discarded material except for the fact that the material still has useful physical or chemical properties after serving a specific purpose and can, therefore, be reused or recycled.

  • Dredged material means material that is excavated or dredged from surface waters.

  • Redacted means a version/copy of the Offeror’s proposal with the information considered proprietary or confidential (as defined by §§57-3A-1 to 57-3A-7, NMSA 1978 and NMAC 1.4.1.45 and summarized herein and outlined in Section II.C.8 of this RFP) blacked-out BUT NOT omitted or removed.

  • Printed Materials means all artwork and mechanicals set forth on the disc label of the PlayStation Disc relating to any of the Licensed Products and on or inside any Packaging for the Licensed Product, and all instructional manuals, liners, inserts, trade dress and other user information to be inserted into the Packaging.

  • Restricted materials means pesticides established as restricted materials under Title 3, California Code of Regulations, section 6400.

  • Instructional material means instructional content that is provided to a student, regardless of its format, including printed or representational materials, audiovisual materials, and materials in electronic or digital formats (such as materials accessible through the Internet). The term does not include academic tests or academic assessments. 20 USC §1232h(c)(6)(A).

  • Licensed Material means the artistic or literary work, database, or other material to which the Licensor applied this Public License.

  • Recyclable material means a material generated by the entity's operations, including aluminum, steel containers, aseptic packag- ing and polycoated paperboard cartons, high-grade office paper, and corrugated cardboard.

  • Prohibited Materials means materials, goods or equipment which incorporates substances which are generally known at the time of specification to be deleterious to health and safety or the durability or integrity of the completed Development or any part of it in the particular circumstances in which they are to be used and/or which by their nature or application contravene any British Standards or Codes of Practice or European Union equivalent current at the date of specification or use;

  • Fill material means material deposited in accordance with these specifications from any of the classes specified in order to build up an earthworks construction to formation level as shown on the Drawings or as ordered by the Project Manager. The Contractor shall obtain the fill material from a source approved by the Project Manager.

  • Recyclable Materials means materials that are separated from mixed municipal solid waste for the purpose of recycling or composting, including paper, glass, plastics, metals, automobile oil, batteries, source-separated compostable materials, and sole source food waste streams that are managed through biodegradative processes. Refuse-derived fuel or other material that is destroyed by incineration is not a recyclable material. (Minn. Stat. § 115A.03, Subd. 25a)

  • Specified Materials means the basic materials required on the Site for the execution and completion of Works, which shall include fuel and lubricants; cement; aggregates; steel reinforcement; timber and gravel.

  • Promotional Material means any communication that relates to the Company or its services made to or directed at, or that relates in any way to the solicitation of a Prospective Customer or a transaction in an Existing Customer’s trading account. Promotional Material includes, but is not limited to, published written texts, training materials, advertisements, market analysis, research reports, correspondence to Existing Customers or Prospective Customers, newsletters and generally anything written that assists in the solicitation process.

  • GOODS / MATERIALS means any of the articles, materials, machinery, equipments, supplies, drawing, data and other property and all services including but not limited to design, delivery, installation, inspection, testing and commissioning specified or required to complete the order.

  • Lost or missing licensed material means licensed material whose location is unknown. This definition includes licensed material that has been shipped but has not reached its planned destination and whose location cannot be readily traced in the transportation system.

  • Contract Material means all material created or required to be developed or created as part of, or for the purpose of performing, the Services, including documents, equipment, information and data stored by any means.

  • Treatment works means any devices and systems used in storage, treatment, recycling, and reclamation of municipal sewage and industrial wastes, of a liquid nature to implement section 201 of the Act, or necessary to recycle reuse water at the most economic cost over the estimated life of the works, including intercepting sewers, sewage collection systems, pumping, power and other equipment, and alterations thereof; elements essential to provide a reliable recycled supply such as standby treatment units and clear well facilities, and any works, including site acquisition of the land that will be an integral part of the treatment process or is used for ultimate disposal of residues resulting from such treatment.

  • Developed Materials means Materials created, made, or developed by Contractor or Subcontractors, either solely or jointly with the Judicial Branch Entities or JBE Contractors, in the course of providing the Work under this Agreement, and all Intellectual Property Rights therein and thereto, including, without limitation, (i) all work-in-process, data or information, (ii) all modifications, enhancements and derivative works made to Contractor Materials, and (iii) all Deliverables; provided, however, that Developed Materials do not include Contractor Materials.

  • Unredacted means a version/copy of the proposal containing all complete information; including any that the Offeror would otherwise consider confidential, such copy for use only for the purposes of evaluation.
