Stunted definition
Stunted variable is created using original variable hw70 (height/age standard deviation) and categorized as 0 “not stunted” and 1 “stunted”. In logistic analysis, “child underweight” variable was created using variable hw71 (weight/age standard deviation) and categorized as 0 “not underweight” and 1 “underweight”. Mother-child pairs can be defined as either concordant weight pairs or discordant weight pairs. Concordant weight pairs refer to mother and child who has the same weight status, while discordant weight pairs represent mother and child with different weight status. Following the WHO guidelines, mother’s weight status is determined using BMI cutoffs through original variable v445 (women body mass index) (▇▇▇▇ & Jan, 2021).
