Study-Unit definition

Study-Unit means a part of a Programme of Study carried out upon a syllabus approved by Senate, on the recommendation of the Board, to which a specified number of credits at an indicated level is assigned, and which is capable of separate assessment. Its description shall also include the methods of teaching and assessment and the lecturer(s) involved in the same Study-Unit; ‘Supervisor’ shall refer to the individual within the Company who: (a) serves as a point of contact within the Company for the Student; (b) conducts and/or make arrangements for the day-to-day supervision of the student; and (c) facilitates and participates in the assessment of the student.

  • LLC Unit means a common limited liability interest in the Company.

  • Study Subject an individual who participates in the Study, either as a recipient of the Investigational Product (defined below) or as a control.   • Study Centre means a centre established and maintained or recognized by the University for the purpose of advising, counselling or for rendering any other assistance required by the students in the context of distance education;

  • Study Completion means the database for the Study has been locked and all Essential Documents have been provided to the Sponsor, including a copy of the letter from the Reviewing HREC acknowledging receipt of the final report and/or closure letter from the Principal Investigator.

  • sub-unit means, with respect to any currency other than euro, the lowest amount of such currency that is available as legal tender in the country of such currency and, with respect to euro, means one cent.
