Study Component definition

Study Component means the study component of Your Scholarship Program identified in Your Scholarship Application Form. Each semester or trimester is regarded as a separate Study Component that begins and ends on the relevant dates for the semester or trimester published by the relevant Host Institution.
Study Component means an approved course of study at a Host Institution as part of a Scholarship Program that meets the requirements in clause 2.3.1 of this Schedule 3.
Study Component means the study component of Your Scholarship Program undertaken with the Host Institution(s), which must be for credit at Your Home University.  Term of Your Scholarship Program means from Your Scholarship Program Commencement Date to Your Scholarship Program Completion Date.

  • E.1.2 You must provide Us with a photocopy of an Academic Transcript provided to You by Your Host Institution at the completion of each semester or trimester (as relevant) of Your Study Component, within 21 days of the Academic Transcript being issued by Your Host Institution.

  • Phase I Study means a human clinical trial in any country that would satisfy the requirements of 21 C.F.R. § 312.21(a) (FDCA), as amended from time to time, and the foreign equivalent thereof.

  • Phase 2 Clinical Trial means a human clinical trial of a product in any country that would satisfy the requirements of 21 C.F.R. 312.21(b) and is intended to explore a variety of doses, dose response, and duration of effect, and to generate initial evidence of clinical safety and activity in a target patient population, or a similar clinical study prescribed by the relevant Regulatory Authorities in a country other than the United States.

  • Principal Component The principal payment plus any interest payments that are either due after the date specified in, or are specified as ineligible for stripping in, the applicable Supplemental Agreement.

  • Phase 1 Clinical Trial means, as to a specific pharmaceutical product, a Clinical Trial in humans of the safety of such product in healthy volunteers or a limited patient population, or human clinical studies directed toward understanding the mechanisms or metabolism of the product. A Phase 1 Clinical Trial shall be deemed initiated upon the dosing of the first subject or patient.

  • Phase I Clinical Trial means a human clinical trial that is intended to initially evaluate the safety and/or pharmacological effect of a Product in subjects or that would otherwise satisfy requirements of 21 C.F.R. 312.21(a), or its foreign equivalent.
