Stop Level definition

Stop Level means the price or number of points away from your opening price at which your Stop Loss Order, Trailing Stop Order or Guaranteed Stop Order will be triggered and thereby the price at which the open Transactions to which it is associated will be closed. The Stop Level of a Stop Loss Order or Trailing Stop Order is subject to Slippage.

Examples of Stop Level in a sentence

  • They are a tool to “lock in” profits, and mean you don’t have to monitor and move your Stop Level constantly.

  • In the event that any Order with an associated Guaranteed Stop Order is Slipped, the Stop Level of the associated Guaranteed Stop Order may be different to the Stop Level specified in the Confirmation, but equate to the same risk.

  • You specify the Stop Level (how far away from the opening level the Trailing Stop Order is to be placed), and the Trailing Stop Order will move in predetermined increments if the price moves in a favourable direction.

  • You also agree that, if any placement of a Guaranteed Stop Order is unfairly advantageous to you (for example if you are Long in a market that goes ex-dividend and you have a Guaranteed Stop Order placed within the amount of the dividend payment) or to us, we may amend the Size and Stop Level of any Guaranteed Stop Order.

  • If the associated Stop Loss Order on any open Transaction was actionable before you closed the open Transaction, we may adjust the closing price of your Transaction to reflect that Stop Level.

  • The Client can see the current Stop Level value in the symbol’s specification in the MetaTrader trading terminal.

  • Stop Level is placed lower than Bid price while Stop Limit shall be set higher than Stop Level.

  • An order that combines both the Buy Limit and Buy Stop; the price is set above the current market price and as soon as the Stop Level is reached, a Buy Limit order will be placed at the specified Stop Limit price.

  • A Stop Level is set above the current market price, while Stop Limit price is set below the Stop Level.

  • Each individual's DAS is organized into three primary segments: (1) Day Pattern Level, (2) Tour Level, and (3) Intermediate Stop Level.

  • RBC level means an insurer's company action level RBC, regulatory action level RBC, authorized control level RBC, or mandatory control level RBC where:

  • Barrier Level means the Barrier Level as specified in § 1 of the Product and Underlying Data.

  • Trigger Level means with respect to an Index, the level specified as such in Annex 1 with respect to such Index

  • Minimum Level (ML) means the concentration at which the entire analytical system must give a recognizable signal and an acceptable calibration point. The ML is the concentration in a sample that is equivalent to the concentration of the lowest calibration standard analyzed by a specific analytical procedure, assuming that all the method-specified sample weights, volumes and processing steps have been followed.

  • Strike Level means the Strike Level as specified in § 1 of the Product and Underlying Data.
