Step Progression Pay Program definition

Step Progression Pay Program means a compensation system that provides for wage progression based on length of service.

  • The City Attorney or designee shall have sole discretion to place newly hired employees at a step within the Step Progression Pay Program or at a level in the Discretionary Pay Program commensurate with the new employee’s knowledge, skills, years of experience and assigned duties and responsibilities.
