Steamer definition

Steamer means any vessel other than a ship.
Steamer includes any means of public and fare-charging transport by sea; (Added A. 6/2000.)
Steamer means any vessel propelled by machinery that runs on steam, diesel, electricity etc. and includes all kinds of barges, whether self-propelled or dumb in tow, but does not include a sailing vessel.
