Statutory Hearing definition
Statutory Hearing means a formal meeting of Council, other than a Public Hearing, where certain persons have a statutory right to be heard pursuant to provincial legislation, or where a decision under Delegation of Authority Bylaw No. 3814, 2021, or Nuisance Abatement and Cost Recovery Bylaw No. 3804, 2020, is being reconsidered by Council;
Statutory Hearing or “hearing” means a procedure of the Board which is conducted as a contested case pursuant to Chapter 54 of the General Statutes in which an application for temporary leave, conditional release, confinement, modification or revocation of conditional release, discharge, continued confinement or a review of status pursuant to Sections 17a-580 through 17a-602, inclusive, of the General Statutes is heard by the Board.
