Statutory Compliance definition

Statutory Compliance. “Rules” or “Regulations” or “Law” shall mean any statute, law, regulation ordinance, rule judgement, notification, order, decree, by-law, permits, licences, approvals, consents, authorisations, government approvals, directives, guidelines, requirements or other governmental restrictions, or any similar form of decision, or determination by, or any interpretation, policy or administration, having the force of law of any of the foregoing, by any regulatory authority, whether in effect as of the effective date or at any time after;
Statutory Compliance shall include the following sub- parameters during the process of evaluation of performance against a rating scale.

Examples of Statutory Compliance in a sentence

  • Statutory Compliance: Service Provider shall identify, document and comply with all pertinent Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) laws and regulations, approvals, licenses and permits which are applicable to the services and conduct of activities.

  • All major decisions/approvals are taken at the Meeting of the Board of Directors such as policy formation, business plans, budgets, investment opportunities, Statutory Compliance etc.

  • The Charges should be paid by the respective contractors to the service provider through Online.In TANGEDCO/TANTRANSCO from 01.01.2021 the digital based Statutory Compliance Services should be integrated with the bill processing system.

  • CDWR-SWP will identify each CDWR-SWP Statutory Compliance or Water System Reliability Outage by designating the Outage with an appropriate cause code in the Outage schedule, Outage request, or request to change or cancel an Approved Maintenance Outage and will provide a description of the requirement or constraint.

  • The CAISO will process any Outage that CDWR-SWP submits in an Outage schedule, Outage request, or request to change or cancel an Approved Maintenance Outage, that is not timely, does not contain a cause code identifying the Outage as a CDWR-SWP Statutory Compliance or Water System Reliability Outage or does not include a description of the requirement or constraint, under the otherwise applicable provisions of Section 9.3 and CAISO Operating Procedures.

  • Bonus actually paid, as per entitlement.The above will be regulated as per extant rules and Section VII (Scope of Work; Statutory Compliance and Contractual Obligations) and Section IX (Special Conditions of Contract).

  • The CAISO will not deny, cancel, or reschedule a CDWR-SWP Statutory Compliance or Water System Reliability Outage that CDWR-SWP submits to the CAISO in an Outage schedule, Outage request, or request to change or cancel an Approved Maintenance Outage, provided that the Outage request is timely, designates the Outage as a CDWR- SWP Statutory Compliance or Water System Reliability Outage by an appropriate cause code and includes a description of the requirement or constraint.

  • Statement of Compliance means the statement forming part of a Tender indicating the Bidders compliance with the Specification.

  • Environmental, Health, and Safety Requirements means all federal, state, local and foreign statutes, regulations, and ordinances concerning public health and safety, worker health and safety, and pollution or protection of the environment, including without limitation all those relating to the presence, use, production, generation, handling, transportation, treatment, storage, disposal, distribution, labeling, testing, processing, discharge, release, threatened release, control, or cleanup of any hazardous materials, substances or wastes, as such requirements are enacted and in effect on or prior to the Closing Date.

  • Environmental and Safety Laws means any federal, state or local laws, ordinances, codes, regulations, rules, policies and orders that are intended to assure the protection of the environment, or that classify, regulate, call for the remediation of, require reporting with respect to, or list or define air, water, groundwater, solid waste, hazardous or toxic substances, materials, wastes, pollutants or contaminants, or which are intended to assure the safety of employees, workers or other persons, including the public.

  • Annual Statement of Compliance As defined in Section 3.13.

  • Environmental, Health or Safety Requirements of Law means all Requirements of Law derived from or relating to foreign, federal, state and local laws or regulations relating to or addressing pollution or protection of the environment, or protection of worker health or safety, including, but not limited to, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, 42 U.S.C. § 9601 et seq., the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, 29 U.S.C. § 651 et seq., and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976, 42 U.S.C. § 6901 et seq., in each case including any amendments thereto, any successor statutes, and any regulations or guidance promulgated thereunder, and any state or local equivalent thereof.

  • Environmental Assessment Act means the Environmental Assessment Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.E.18.

  • Environmental and Social Standards or “ESSs” means, collectively:

  • National Ambient Air Quality Standards or “NAAQS” means national ambient air quality standards that are promulgated pursuant to Section 109 of the Act, 42 U.S.C. § 7409.

  • health and safety file means a file, or other record containing the information in writing required by these Regulations "health and safety plan" means a site, activity or project specific documented plan in accordance with the client's health and safety specification;

  • Non-Compliance means failure/refusal to comply the terms and conditions of the tender;

  • Compliance Statement is that certain statement in the form attached hereto as Exhibit B.

  • Safety Requirements means Prudent Electrical Practices, CPUC General Order No. 167, Contractor Safety Program Requirements, and all applicable requirements of Law, PG&E, the Utility Distribution Company, the Transmission Provider, Governmental Approvals, the CAISO, CARB, NERC and WECC.

  • Year 2000 Compliance has the meaning set forth in section 17.29 of the Management Agreement.
