Regulatory Bodies means those government departments and regulatory, statutory and other entities, committees, ombudsmen and bodies which, whether under statute, rules, regulations, codes of practice or otherwise, are entitled to regulate, investigate, or influence the matters dealt with in the Contract or any other affairs of the Client and “Regulatory Body” shall be construed accordingly.
statutory body means any body declared under clause 13 to be a statutory body for the purposes of this Schedule;
Statutory Plans means statutory benefit plans which a Party or any of its subsidiaries is required to participate in or comply with or in respect of which any of them has an actual or potential liability, including the Canada Pension Plan and Quebec Pension Plan and plans administered pursuant to applicable health, tax, workplace safety insurance and employment insurance legislation;
Governmental Entities has the meaning ascribed to it in the Purchase Agreement.
Local authorities means every county, municipal, and other local board or body having authority to adopt police regulations under the constitution and laws of this state.
