State Person definition

State Person means an individual who is a statewide elected official, State Officer or Employee as defined in subsection 943.3(y), member of the legislature or legislative employee.
State Person means any of the following:

Examples of State Person in a sentence

  • A description of the general subject or subjects of the transactions between the Lobbyist or Client and the State Person (or the entity with which the State Person has the Requisite Involvement); and (iii)The actual or anticipated amount of Compensation, including reimbursable Expenses, to be paid and paid to the State Person (or entity with which the State Person has the Requisite Involvement) by virtue of the business relationship.

  • Length of such relationship; (iii)The type and actual value of the goods, services or items provided; and/or (iv)Whether the fact that the individual is a State Person or the Requisite Involvement of the State Person with the entity at issue is generally known to the public.

  • The term ‘Reportable Person’ means a Member State Person other than: (i) a corporation the stock of which is regularly traded on one or more established securities markets; (ii) any corporation that is a Related Entity of a corporation described in clause (i); (iii) a Governmental Entity; (iv) an International Organisation; (v) a Central Bank; or (vi) a Financial Institution.

  • Such threshold is met once more than $1,000 in Compensation is paid or owed to such State Person or entity for services Performed or Provided or Intended to be Performed or Provided.

  • A Lobbyist or Client will be deemed to have had reason to know if such lack of knowledge results from willfully ignoring information that would lead a reasonable person to (i) conclude that the individual was a State Person, or that a State Person had the Requisite Involvement, or, (ii) undertake further research to determine whether either fact exists.

  • The term “Reportable Person” means a Member State Person other than: (i) a corporation the stock of which is regularly traded on one or more established securities markets; (ii) any corporation that is a Related Entity of a corporation described in clause (i); (iii) a Governmental Entity; (iv) an International Organisation; (v) a Central Bank; or (vi) a Financial Institution.

  • Aggregation of Compensation.If a Lobbyist or Client has multiple business relationships with the same State Person, the same entity or entities in which a State Person has the RequisiteInvolvement, then the value of the Compensation paid for goods, services or anything of value relating to such relationships must be aggregated.

  • The Member States and Monaco shall ensure that each individual Reportable Person (whether a Monaco Person or a Member State Person) is notified of a breach of security with regard to their data when that breach is likely to adversely affect the protection of their personal data or privacy.

Related to State Person

  • corporate person means a company as defined in clause (20) of section 2 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), a limited liability partnership, as defined in clause (n) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 (6 of 2009), or any other person incorporated with limited liability under any law for the time being in force but shall not include any financial service provider;

  • Private Person means any person, firm, entity or individual who or which is other than a "governmental unit" as that term is used in Sections 141 and 148 of the Code.

  • appropriate person means the person required to make the material open to public inspection or, as the case may be, the person maintaining the register;

  • Other entity means any association or legal entity, other than a domestic or foreign corporation, organized to conduct business, including, but not limited to, a partnership, limited partnership, limited liability partnership, limited liability company, joint venture, joint stock company, business trust, statutory trust and real estate investment trust.

  • School District Official For the purposes of this Agreement and pursuant to 34 CFR 99.31 (B) and Wis. Stat. § 118.125(2)(d), a School District Official is a contractor that: (1) Performs an institutional service or function for which the agency or institution would otherwise use employees; (2) Is under the direct control of the agency or institution with respect to the use and maintenance of education records; and (3) Is subject to 34 CFR 99.33(a) and Wis. Stat. § 118.125(2) governing the use and re-disclosure of personally identifiable information from student records. Student Data: Student Data includes any data, whether gathered by Provider or provided by LEA or its users, students, or students’ parents/guardians, that is descriptive of the student including, but not limited to, information in the student’s educational record or email, first and last name, home address, telephone number, email address, or other information allowing online contact, discipline records, videos, test results, special education data, juvenile dependency records, grades, evaluations, criminal records, medical records, health records, social security numbers, biometric information, disabilities, socioeconomic information, food purchases, political affiliations, religious information text messages, documents, student identifies, search activity, photos, voice recordings or geolocation information. Student Data shall constitute Pupil Records for the purposes of this Agreement, and for the purposes of Wisconsin and federal laws and regulations. Student Data as specified in Exhibit “B” is confirmed to be collected or processed by the Provider pursuant to the Services. Student Data shall not constitute that information that has been anonymized or deidentified, or anonymous usage data regarding a student’s use of Provider’s services. SDPC (The Student Data Privacy Consortium): Refers to the national collaborative of schools, districts, regional, territories and state agencies, policy makers, trade organizations and marketplace providers addressing real-world, adaptable, and implementable solutions to growing data privacy concerns.

  • Supervised financial organization means a person, other than an insurance company or other organization primarily engaged in an insurance business:

  • Tribal Entity means a federally-recognized tribal entity performing tribal governmental functions and eligible for funding and services from the U.S. Department of Interior by virtue of its status as an Indian tribe.

  • Body means any organisation or entity, whether a juristic person or not, and includes a community association;

  • Other Person means a person who is not a council member or an employee.

  • non-resident taxable person means any person who occasionally undertakes transactions involving supply of goods or services or both, whether as principal or agent or in any other capacity, but who has no fixed place of business or residence in India;

  • of a Person means the power, directly or indirectly, either to (a) vote 10% or more of the securities having ordinary voting power for the election of directors (or persons performing similar functions) of such Person or (b) direct or cause the direction of the management and policies of such Person, whether by contract or otherwise.

  • Governing body means the board of county commissioners or a county council if a county; the legislative authority if a municipal corporation; or the board of township trustees if a township; the board of directors if a sanitary district; or the board of trustees if a regional water and sewer district.
