State Issue definition

State Issue. A verbal or written request, point of discussion, or expression of dissatisfaction received from a Medicaid Member, Member’s representative or Medicaid Provider that may include benefits, services, reimbursement, enrollment, utilization management, or other concerns related to service delivery. The Division forwards this concern to the Contractor for response and resolution to ensure that the Contractor is in compliance with the goals of the MississippiCAN program.
