The Union raised concerns over the administration of the Standing Application system pursuant to Article 13 – Posting and Filling of Vacancies, clause 13.2. In particular, the Union maintained that the administration of the standing applications could be improved while, at the same time, enhancing the transparency of the process.
AStanding Application will remain valid until it results in action or is replaced or withdrawn by the Employee, it is the responsibility of the Employee to ensure that a Standing Application always reflects the Employee's current preferences.
In the event of an addition or alteration to current shifts or locations such new position will be posted for five (5) working days, with the deadline for Standing Application submissions being midnight of the sixth (6) day following such above notification.

A copy of such Standing Application submitted will be furnished to the Employee.
