Standard Desktop definition

Standard Desktop shall be a Resource Unit. One Resource Unit shall equal one (1) Standard Desktop device. A “Standard Desktop” shall mean a personal computer (PC) that is not designed and engineered for portability. It will consist of a central processing unit, memory, storage, an external keyboard, pointing device and external monitor and will generally be positioned in a fixed location. Standard Desktops run Company’s defined standard operating environment, and the hardware and Software meet Company’s defined standard configurations and architecture.
