The STAM provides the procedures for submission, approvals and extensions of the Traffic Accommodation (TA) written applications, plans and notices.
The STAM shall be read in conjunction with the Local Authorities Act, 1992 (Act 23 of 1992), Part IX: Streets and Public Places.
When the closure of the road / lane has not been approved, has expired and no TA extension has been made; the Developer will be in breach of its obligations under Sub-Clause 2.4.8 ‘Safety Procedures’ and this STAM of the Agreement; and penalties shall accordingly apply.
