Staked definition

Staked means a Crypto Asset that has been pledged or locked in a smart contract to permit the owner or the owner’s delegate to act as a Validator for a particular proof‐of‐stake consensus algorithm blockchain;
Staked or “to Stake” means committing Eligible Staking Assets using a guarantee of the correct and performative operation of a a designated Staking Node.
Staked means staking by or on behalf of any party to this Agreement or any of their directors, officers or controlling shareholders.

Staked or means using, or permitting to be used, in any manner, directly or indirectly, through an agent or otherwise (including, for the avoidance of doubt, through a delegation of rights to any third party by making any portion of the ether held in the Trust available to any third party or by entering into any similar arrangement with a third party), any portion of the Trust’s assets in a proof-of-stake validation protocol. For the avoidance of doubt, the mere act of transferring units of virtual currency on a peer-to-peer virtual currency network that utilizes a proof-of-stake validation protocol shall not be considered to be “Staking” nor shall such transferred units be considered “Staked”.
