Staff Side definition

Staff Side means accredited representatives of recognised unions of the Royal United Hospital, Bath NHS Trust.
Staff Side means those members of the JNC or Forum who represent ULT employees through the ULT recognised unions.

Examples of Staff Side in a sentence

  • The National Grading Appeals Panel shall consist of an independent chairperson, two elected representatives nominated by the Employers' Side and two representatives of the Staff Side, with provision for maximum of two non-voting counsellors on either Side.

  • An appeal must be lodged with the Staff Side Secretary within six months of the date on which a worker is notified of a decision by an employer on a local appeal.

  • The appellant’s statement of case must be sent to the Staff Side Secretary.

  • Furthermore, the Trust will encourage and support employees to become Staff Side representatives.

  • This activity with employees will take place in agreement with Staff Side representatives and the Trust recognises that it is for Staff Side unions to determine how decisions which are representative of employee opinion are reached and cascaded.
