Staff Orientation definition

Staff Orientation. All CONTRACTOR staff shall receive a program orientation that includes information on program goals and objectives, policies and procedures, job duties and responsibilities, and these standards. All of the CONTRACTOR’S employee files shall contain signed confirmation that an orientation was provided that meets these requirements.

Examples of Staff Orientation in a sentence

  • Workplace violence and personal safety training will be mandatory for all staff in the New Staff Orientation.

  • The District shall communicate in writing the health and safety procedures of the District to unit members once each fiscal year during the Faculty and Staff Orientation in August or whenever substantial changes are made to said procedures during the fiscal year.

  • The District shall donate one day to the Bank for each new employee upon his/her completion of New Staff Orientation at the beginning of the contract year.

Related to Staff Orientation

  • Orientation means any introductory instruction into a new practice environment or employment situation where being a nurse is a requirement of employment or where the individual uses any title or abbreviation indicating that the individual is a nurse. Orientation is considered the practice of nursing in this State.

  • Sexual orientation means actual or perceived heterosexuality, homosexuality or bisexuality.

  • Seaplane means a fixed wing aircraft which is designed for taking off and landing on water and includes amphibians operated as seaplanes;

  • Medical Specialist means any medical practitioner who is vocationally registered by the Medical Council under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 in one of the approved branches of medicine and who is employed in either that branch of medicine or in a similar capacity with minimal oversight.
