Stable diabetes means diabetes associated with a blood glucose level consistently between 80 and 140 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dl) fasting and less than or equal to 180 mg/dl after a meal, and/or a Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) at or below 7.0 within the last three months.
