Split operation definition

Split operation means an operation that produces or distributes covered animals and/or covered products from operations, or portions of an operation, that are both in conformance and out-of-conformance with the confinement standards of the Act and this Chapter.
Split operation means as an operation that produces both certified and noncertified products. The department does not consider an operation certified to produce both organic and OCal products a “split operation.”
Split operation means an Operation that raises livestock for meat or meat products that is operated in conjunction with an OPT Certified Operation.
