split flow means a building drain for the conveyance of wastewater that is designed to capture two waste streams, one stream from the toilet and the other stream from all other fixtures including bathtubs, showers washbasins, clothes washing machines, laundry tubs, kitchen sinks and dishwashers, for the purpose of reducing the total nitrogen discharged from the building; a “split flow” system shall consist of a holding tank for the toilet waste only and a disposal system for the remainder of the waste;
