The DHS Handbook for Safeguarding Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information provides guidelines to help safeguard SPII in both paper and electronic form.
Improper handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (SPII) by the Contractor could have significant adverse impacts on the privacy of individuals.
