Specified offense definition
Specified offense for purposes of this article means a class A felony offense other than an offense as defined in article two hundred twenty, a violent felony offense as defined in section 70.02, manslaugh- ter in the second degree as defined in section 125.15, criminal tampering in the first degree as defined in section 145.20 of this chapter, and includes an attempt or conspiracy to commit any such offense.
Specified offense means any of the following:
Specified offense means any of the following: (a) a felony offense of violence, the offense of "disrupting public services," the offenses of "contaminating a substance for human consumption or use or contamination with a hazardous chemical, biological, or radioactive substance" or "spreading a false report of contamination" (both as amended by the bill--see "Contaminating a substance for human consumption or use or contamination with a hazardous chemical, biological, or radioactive substance," below), or a felony of the first degree that is not a violation of R.C. Chapter 2925. (drug offenses) or 3719. (controlled substances), or (b) an attempt to commit, complicity in committing, or a conspiracy to commit an offense listed in clause (a) of this paragraph.

Specified offense for purposes of this chapter means those offenses defined in Divisions 1 and 3 of Title 6 other than Division 2 offenses, and includes an attempt or conspiracy to commit any such offense.
