Affected employees will be informed of their appeal rights in the Specific Notice of RIF.
The Specific Notice will include the action to be taken and the effective date; the employee's competi- tive area; competitive level; subgroup; service computation date; where the employee can inspect the records and regulations pertinent to the separation action; reemployment rights; and appeal rights.
The Corporation will notify the employ- ee by issuing a Specific Notice of Reduction-in-Force at least sixty (60) calen- dar days prior to the effective date of the separation.
Upon receiving the notice, the employee will sign and date a letter indicating receipt of the Specific Notice.
