Specific Guarantee definition

Specific Guarantee. The guarantee established in favor of the Bank, as detailed in Exhibit IV to the Loan Agreement, consisting of the estate in trust constituted by virtue of the Guarantee Trust Agreement.
Specific Guarantee shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.5.
Specific Guarantee. It is given for single debt or obligation and comes to an end when the debt guaranteed has been paid or obligation guaranteed has been discharged. Thus, where A gives a loan to B for which C stands guarantee, it is a case of a specific guarantee. In this case, there is a specific debt and the guarantee shall come to an end the moment the loan is repaid. Examples of Specific Guarantee in a sentence

  • The SI hereby (i) guarantees all apparatus, devices, workmanship and materials furnished and installed under Division 16 and the Technical Specifications (collectively, the "Electrical Equipment") for the period and amount specified in Section 17.3 (Specific Guarantee Periods and Amounts), and (ii) guarantees that all such Electrical Equipment and any part or parts which fail to perform the respective duties for which they are intended shall be repaired or replaced, all at the SI's sole cost.
