Specialty Pharmacies means pharmacies located in the United States and licensed and regulated by one or more state pharmacy board(s) that dispense specialty prescription drugs (those pharmaceuticals that typically require special handling, administration, or inventory management), primarily by mail or third party delivery service; to patients with chronic conditions, acute events, or complex or high- cost therapies; and that provide services including patient education, support, and/or coordination with patients and prescribers.
