Special Appeal definition

Special Appeal means an appeal from the Judgment of one Judge;
Special Appeal means any voluntary appeal made by the Association during the course of the year, and made with a statement of the intention, and a restricted time period, for the use of the funds. Payment of a Special Appeal does not constitute membership. Money collected from these appeals must be kept separate from other Association moneys and must be used solely for the purposes requested during the specified effective time period. At the conclusion of the effective time period designated by the special appeal any unused money will be moved to the Association’s general funds. No refunds of the Special Appeal shall be given.

  • Special Approval means approval by a majority of the members of the Conflicts Committee.

  • Day Case Procedure means a Medically Necessary surgical procedure for investigation or treatment to the Insured Person performed in a medical clinic, or day case procedure centre or Hospital with facilities for recovery as a Day Patient.
