Special access definition

Special access means the provision of access service, other than switched access service, to a local exchange network for the purpose of enabling a provider to originate or terminate telecommunication service within the exchange, including the use of local private lines.
Special access means Service using digital signal bandwidths DS0, DS1 and DS3 or Optical Carrier signal bandwidths OC3, OC12, OC48 and OC192.
Special access means CenturyLink Provided Access using Digital Signal speeds XX-0, XX-0, and DS-3 or Optical Carrier signal speeds OC-3, OC-12, OC-48, and OC-192.

  • Broadband Internet access service means a mass-market retail service by wire or radio that provides the capability to transmit data to and receive data from all or substantially all Internet endpoints, including any capabilities that are incidental to and enable the operation of the communications service, but excluding dial-up Internet access service. This term also encompasses any service that the State finds to be providing a functional equivalent of the service described in the previous sentence, or that is used to evade the protections set forth in this section.

  • Local Access Transport Area or "LATA" is as defined in the Act.

  • Collateral Access Agreement means a landlord waiver, bailee letter, or acknowledgement agreement of any lessor, warehouseman, processor, consignee, or other Person in possession of, having a Lien upon, or having rights or interests in any Loan Party’s or its Subsidiaries’ books and records, Equipment, or Inventory, in each case, in form and substance reasonably satisfactory to Agent.

  • Trading Access means the right granted to a Person to send RFQs or place Orders and/or enter into transactions for certain or all Swaps to the SEF Platform or execute Swaps subject to the BSEF Rules.

  • air traffic control unit means a generic term meaning variously, area control centre, approach control unit or aerodrome control tower;

Included are government office buildings; public schools; courthouses; jails; prisons; water treatment plants, distribution systems, and pumping stations; wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, and pumping stations; solid waste disposal plants, incinerators, landfills, and related facilities; public roads and streets; highways; public parking facilities; public transportation systems, terminals, and rolling stock; rail, air, and water port structures, terminals, and equipment.

  • internet access service means a publicly available electronic communications service that provides access to the internet, and thereby connectivity to virtually all end points of the internet, irrespective of the network technology and terminal equipment used.

  • Infrastructure means infrastructure serving the County and improved or unimproved real estate and personal property, including machinery and equipment, used in the operation of the Project, within the meaning of Section 4-29-68 of the Code.
