Solicitation expenses definition
Solicitation expenses means direct marketing expenses incurred by a member in connection with a limited partnership rollup transaction, such as telephone calls, broker/dealer fact sheets, members' legal and other fees related to the solicitation, as well as direct solicitation compensation to members.
Solicitation expenses means the direct solicitation compensation (if any) payable to broker-dealers for assistance in soliciting consents from the Limited Partners of the California Partnerships and direct marketing expenses related thereto, such as telephone calls, broker-dealer fact sheets, legal and other fees related solely to the solicitation of consents.
