Solicitation Activity definition

Solicitation Activity means coordinating, or soliciting any person or PAC to make, any (i) Political Contributions; or (ii) payments to a political party of a state or locality where the Firm is providing or seeking to provide investment advisory services to a government entity.
Solicitation Activity means the Grantee’s solicitation for employment or hiring, without the written consent of the Chief Legal Officer of the Company (or an authorized officer of the Company if the Grantee is the Chief Legal Officer), of any person employed or retained by the Company on, or during the six months preceding, the date of the Grantee’s termination of employment.
Solicitation Activity means Executive’s solicitation for employment or retention, hiring or retention, without the written consent of counsel of the Employer, of any person employed or retained by the Employer on the date of termination or during the month preceding the date of termination.

Examples of Solicitation Activity in a sentence

  • During the period beginning on the Award Date and ending on the earlier of (i) the first anniversary of the Grantee’s termination of employment for any reason or (ii) a Change in Control that occurs at any time after the Award Date, the Grantee will not engage in any Competitive Activity or Solicitation Activity.

Solicitation Activity shall have the meaning as set forth in Section D, paragraph 7.
