Solar Energy Facilities definition

Solar Energy Facilities means improvements owned, controlled, operated, or managed in connection with or to facilitate Electrical Power Production, including: (i) solar electric power generation facilities; (ii) power collection facilities, including distribution and collection lines, wires and cables, conduit, footings, foundations, vaults, junction boxes, switching facilities, transformers, and above-ground transformers; (iii) control, communications and radio relay systems and telecommunications equipment, including fiber, wires, cables, conduit and poles; (iv) roads, culverts and erosion control facilities; (v) utility installations; (vi) laydown areas, crane pads and staging areas reasonably necessary for the installation and maintenance of the solar generation facilities; (vii) signs; (viii) fences, gates and other safety and protection facilities; and (ix) other improvements, facilities, appliances, machinery and equipment in any way related to or associated with converting solar energy into electrical energy and transmitting the same.
Solar Energy Facilities means distinct solar energy systems that require their own dedicated inverter, electrical distribution, and transmission wiring system, and all other associated components, including, but not limited to, solar panels and films, arrays, collectors, piping, footings, supports, mounting and stabilization devices, pumps, transformers, utility poles, and other on-farm equipment, structures, and infrastructure necessary to operate and maintain the system for the generation of power or heat.
Solar Energy Facilities means Solar Power Devices, and related overhead and underground and electrical transmission and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system lines, electric transformers, energy storage equipment, meteorological towers, solar measurement equipment, control buildings, maintenance yards, roads, and power generation facilities operated in conjunction with converting solar energy into electrical energy.

More Definitions of Solar Energy Facilities

Solar Energy Facilities. All facilities, structures, equipment, machinery, materials and property of every kind and character, including, without limitation, Energy Storage Facilities, that are constructed, installed, and/or placed on, above, or under the Property by or on behalf of Lessee in connection with a Solar Project or Energy Storage. Solar Energy Facilities include, but are not limited to, individual units or arrays of solar energy collection cells, panels, mirrors, lenses and related facilities (including battery and battery-like technology making up Energy Storage Facilities) necessary to harness sunlight for photovoltaic or solar thermal electric energy generation, including without limitation, heating, and power generation systems installed in connection with the foregoing solar energy facilities, existing and/or future technologies used or useful in connection with the generation of electricity from sunlight, and associated support structures, interconnection facilities for delivery to a utility grid or other system (including transformers and electrical transmission lines), energy collection facilities, braces, wiring, plumbing, and related equipment, as well as facilities for solar research and development activities, including operations and maintenance building(s), together with all related utilities supporting same.
Solar Energy Facilities means an alternative energy facility that consists of one or more ground-mounted or free-standing solar collection devices, solar energy related equipment (including storage) and other associated infrastructure with the primary intention of generating electricity or otherwise converting solar energy to a different form of energy for primarily commercial or other off-site use.
