Soiling definition

Soiling means all the contamination on textiles during their use. This contamination is of very different sources. For cleaning purposes, the easiest way of classification of “soiling” is by solubility of soiling components. The classification can be done by definition of four groups:

Examples of Soiling in a sentence

  • For Heavy Soiling - High Pressure Water Washing (Prior to D2 abrasive cleaning) and/or 2.

  • For Heavy Soiling -High Pressure Water Washing (Prior to abrasive cleaning – Method D2) and/or 2.

  • For Heavy Soiling – High Pressure Water Washing (Prior to D5 abrasive cleaning) and/or 2.

  • Soiling, tearing and/or discoloration of the seat cushions is NOT considered reasonable wear and tear and will be billed as additional cleaning or damage.

  • Soiling and/or discoloration of the leather, fabric and furnishings is NOT considered reasonable wear and tear and will be billed as additional cleaning or damage.

  • For Heavy Soiling – Remove all internal cushioning pads followed by High Pressure Water Washing (Prior to D2 abrasive cleaning) and/or 2.

  • The input values used in the System Model shall include the following parameters based on the final installed System: • Albedo • Module orientation • Shading • Equipment models and configuration • Module thermal parameters • Ohmic losses • Module quality and mismatch losses • Soiling losses, adjusted for calendar month and washing frequency • IAM losses Hidden parameters and preferences within the model shall remain at default values unless noted and justified.

Related to Soiling

  • Soil means all unconsolidated mineral and organic material of any origin.

  • Groundwater means all water, which is below the surface of the ground in the saturation zone and in direct contact with the ground or subsoil.

  • Topsoil means a varying depth (up to 300 mm) of the soil profile irrespective of the fertility, appearance, structure, agricultural potential, fertility and composition of the soil;

  • Dewatering means the removal of water for construction activity. It can be a discharge of appropriated surface or groundwater to dry and/or solidify a construction site. It may require Minnesota Department of Natural Resources permits to be appropriated and if contaminated may require other MPCA permits to be discharged.

  • shoring means a system used to support the sides of an excavation and which is intended to prevent the cave-in or the collapse of the sides of an excavation;
