SOGEA definition

SOGEA means a single order GEA, delivered as a single service using copper technology between the Customer Premises and the cabinet and then fibre to the exchange, where the line is not shared with PSTN;
SOGEA means Single Order Generic Ethernet Access - which is a standalone data connection without the need for a PSTN line.
SOGEA means Single Order Generic Ethernet Access and is the name given by Openreach to its GEA-FTTC product where only a broadband service is being provided;

Examples of SOGEA in a sentence

  • The Supplier will, where requested by the Customer, provide a free of charge upgrade in relation to an existing Line or Broadband Service to a FTTP, SOGFast or SOGEA service (“New Product”) in accordance with paragraphs 8.20 to 8.28 below, provided such New Products are available at the Customer’s site address.

  • Subject to paragraph 13 of Section A, if, within 8 Working Days of the date an Engineer Install or Self Install SOGEA Service was delivered, the Communications Provider gives BT notice that the service has failed, and this is due to BT’s act, error, or omission, then BT shall pay to the Communications Provider fixed compensation of £12.

  • Subject to paragraph 12, BT shall provide the SOGEA Service on the CCD.
