Software Business definition

Software Business shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in the recitals to this Agreement.
Software Business means the business activities of the Company related to the development, use, licensing, marketing, maintenance, updating, support and error correction of the Software.
Software Business means the business of developing, marketing and selling packaged software in business intelligence, which includes reporting, data analysis, decision support and data delivery.

Examples of Software Business in a sentence

  • Licensee may have rights to use the following IBM Cognos programs embedded within the Software solely in conjunction with the Software: Business Intelligence Advanced Business Author, Business Intelligence Professional Author, Business Intelligence Web Administrator, and Business Intelligence Enhanced Consumer.

  • Each of Seller and Purchaser shall preserve until the fourth anniversary of the Closing Date all records possessed by such party relating primarily to the Transferred Assets or the operation of the Software Business prior to the Closing Date.

  • The Company also provides enterprise-wide financial and clinical software to acute care healthcare organizations, including patient and staff scheduling, clinical information systems and patient financial management software (the "Application Software Business").

  • Seller has not incorporated any Copyleft Materials into any Seller Software or Business Services or used any Copyleft Materials, in each case, in a manner that requires Seller Software, Business Services, Purchased Intellectual Property, or any portion of any of the foregoing, to be subject to a Copyleft License or requires or would require Seller, Purchaser or any of their Affiliates to grant Intellectual Property licenses or rights.

  • All use and distribution of Seller Software, Business Services and such Open Source Software by or through Seller is in full compliance with all Open Source Licenses applicable to the use and distribution of such Seller Software, Business Services and Open Source Software.

  • All Inventory is of usable quality and includes no material amount of obsolete or discontinued items or items that cannot be used by Buyer in the Software Business in the ordinary course.

  • Licensee has the rights to use the following IBM Cognos programs embedded within the Software solely in conjunction with the Software: Business Intelligence Advanced Business Author, Business Intelligence Professional Author, Business Intelligence Web Administrator, and Business Intelligence Enhanced Consumer.
