Soft start definition

Soft start means a method for starting works where the timing and intensity of noise and/or vibration gradually increases to operational capacity over a minimum of 10 minutes to give nearby animals a warning and opportunity to leave the area before the highest intensity works or noise occurs.
Soft start means turning on the airguns at low power and gradually and systematically increasing the output until full power is achieved (usually over a period of 20 minutes);

Any deductions, costs, or processing fees associated with the removal or recovery of Natural Gas Liquids is strictly limited to only that part of any Processing Plant or facility where Raw Mix is recovered, and if applicable at that plant, also fractionated to their component parts.

  • Interconnection Study means any of the studies defined in the CAISO’s Tariff or any Transmission/Distribution Owner’s tariff that reflect methodology and costs to interconnect the Facility to the Transmission/Distribution Owner’s electric grid.

  • Distribution center means a building or structure used primarily for the storage of goods which are intended for subsequent shipment to retail outlets. Distribution center does not mean a building or structure used primarily to store raw agricultural products, used primarily by a manufacturer to store goods to be used in the manufacturing process, used primarily for the storage of petroleum products, or used for the retail sale of goods.

  • Brand Name Specification means a specification limited to one or more items by manufacturers’ names or catalogue number.

  • Staging pile means an accumulation of solid, non- flowing remediation waste (as defined in this section) that is not a containment building and that is used only during remedial operations for temporary storage at a facility. Staging piles must be designated by the Director according to the requirements of § 264.554 of this regulation.

  • Generation Interconnection Customer means an entity that submits an Interconnection Request to interconnect a new generation facility or to increase the capacity of an existing generation facility interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region. Generation Interconnection Request:
