Snatch Theft definition

Snatch Theft means the act of forcefully stealing or attempt thereof, from an Insured Person. For the purpose of this Policy, Snatch Theft is included to cover robbery or attempted robbery and snatch grab – situation where the Insured Person’s possessions are grabbed or attempted to be grabbed, from the Insured Person
Snatch Theft means loss of wallet, purse or other bag in the possession of the Insured person at the material time together with the contents therein or loss of any valuables worn by the Insured Person at the material time as a result of the same being snatched away by unknown person including attempt thereof.
Snatch Theft means the act of forcefully from the Inured Person who was, at the time of such act, a pedestrian at a public walkway or in a transport or in a public place outside his residence or place of work and fleeing the scene.

Examples of Snatch Theft in a sentence

  • Personal Effects shall mean handbag, wallet, purse and mobile phone which are quantifiable monetarily (excluding cash), owned by You and were in Your possession at the time of the Snatch Theft.

  • Snatch Theft refers to the criminal act of forceful stealing or attempt to steal from You including snatch grab.

  • If You have lost Your Personal Effects as a result of Snatch Theft, We will reimburse for the loss of Personal Effects per Accident up to the maximum amount stated in the Certificate Schedule.

  • The Principal Cardholders are entitled to enjoy insurance coverage up to RM1.7 million for Travel Accident and Inconvenience, Overseas Medical Expenses, Loss of Personal Money and Snatch Theft underwritten by MSIG Insurance (Malaysia) Bhd (“MSIG”).

  • If You have lost Your Personal Effects as a result of Snatch Theft, We will reimburse for the loss of Personal Effects per Accident up to the maximum amount stated in the Policy Schedule.

  • Quantifiable monetary items (excluding cash) which were in Person(s) Insured’s possession at the time of the Snatch Theft or attempted Snatch Theft.

  • The Principal Cardholders are entitled to enjoy insurance coverage up to Ringgit Malaysia One Million Seven Hundred Thousand (RM1.7 million) for Travel Accident and Inconvenience, Overseas Medical Expenses, Loss of Personal Money and Snatch Theft underwritten by MSIG Insurance (Malaysia) Bhd (“MSIG”).

  • If You suffer from any of the following covered events as a result of Snatch Theft, We will reimburse up to the maximum sub-limit as specified for the respective covered event as stated below according to the plan You have selected as shown in the Certificate Schedule, subject to a maximum of two (2) incidents during any one (1) Period of Takaful.

  • Snatch Theft refers to criminal act of forceful stealing or attempt to steal from You including snatch grab.

  • The Cardholders will enjoy insurance coverage of up to RM1.7million for Travel Accident and Inconvenience, Overseas Medical Expenses, Loss of Personal Money and Snatch Theft which is underwritten by MSIG Insurance (Malaysia) Bhd.

Snatch Theft means the act of forcefully stealing from the Insured Person who was at the time of such act, a pedestrian, inside a motor vehicle, riding or pillion riding a motorbike, bicycle or tricycle, whilst in a public premises or public transport where the Insured Person is travelling as a fare paying passenger in any mode of licensed public conveyance taking away the Insured Person’s hand carried bag, fleeing the scene either by running, driving a motor vehicle, riding or pillion riding a motorbike. This act must be committed outside the Insured Person residence. The Company shall not be liable for loss or damage as a result of Pick-Pocketing or due to Robbery.
