SMS Alert definition

SMS Alert means an SMS message sent by Shell to the mobile phone number provided by the User for transactions which were identified in Shell’s security system – on the basis of an algorythm specified– as a potentially suspicious transaction for any reason following the execution of the transaction.
SMS Alert means a text alert service by which we will send a message to your mobile phone to alert you to any circumstances listed in condition 16.7 below.
SMS Alert means the SMS message required to be sent by mobile telecommunications service providers pursuant to Articles 3.2 and 4.2 of this Regulation;

Examples of SMS Alert in a sentence

  • You can tell us at any time that you no longer wish to use the Internet Banking or SMS Alert services.

  • If you take up SMS Alert, our messaging service, we will send you an SMS message to notify you of transactions on your Account when we become aware of them, which may not always be on the same day that the transaction occurred.

  • Your debit card, Internet Banking and SMS Alert end automatically when the Account to which they are linked is closed.

  • We will not be responsible to you if you miss an SMS Alert because your phone is off, or because you are in an area without network coverage, or because of the failure of any telecommunications network or equipment, or for your non-receipt of an SMS Alert due to any other reason beyond our reasonable control.

  • For your protection, you agree to: ● Login to Online Banking and cancel your SMS Alert Service if your Mobile Device is lost or stolen and contact us immediately; ● Login to Online Banking and cancel or edit your SMS Alert Service if there are changes to your wireless carrier provider or Mobile Device number (cell phone number); and ● Erase your “Sent Messages” and “Inbox” that may contain your SMS Short Code or other personal information.

  • Definitions The following words and phrases shall have the meanings as set below unless the context indicates otherwise: “Account(s)” refers to the Customer’s bank Account and/ or UBL Debit Card and/ or home loan account and/ or auto loan account and/ or consumer durable loan account and/ or any other type of account maintained with the Bank which are eligible for operations for SMS Alert Service.

  • If you request for this SMS Alert and approved by Citibank, it is his/her responsibility to determine if his/her CSP(s) support text messaging and his/her mobile phone is capable of receiving text message.

  • We may add, remove or otherwise amend the list of activities triggering an SMS Alert at any time as we continue to improve and enhance our SMS Alert Service.

  • The Customer may request for the SMS Alert Services to be terminated at any time by giving fifteen (15) days prior written notice to the Bank.

  • The grant of the SMS Alert Services to the Customer is purely personal in nature and not transferable under any circumstance.
