SMOU definition

SMOU means the Singapore Maritime Officers’ Union and its successors and assigns.
SMOU has the meaning given to it in the first recital.

  • This SMOU shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Hawaii.

  • The parties hereto agree that this SMOU may be executed in counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original, and said counterparts shall together constitute one and the same instrument, binding on all of the parties hereto, notwithstanding that all parties are not signatories to the original or the same counterparts.

  • As of the Closing Date, the MOU and SMOU applicable to the Parties, including any provision thereof intended to survive termination or expiration of such MOU or SMOU, is hereby deemed terminated and superseded by this Agreement.

  • The Company shall contribute to the Maritime Training Fund (MTF) to promote education, training and upgrading of SMOU members serving on or planning to serve on ships covered by SMOU collective agreement.

  • Except as specifically set forth herein, the rights and obligations of each party named in this SMOU shall bind and inure to the benefit of each party and their respective successors and assigns.

  • For all purposes, including, without limitation, delivery of this SMOU, duplicate, unexecuted and unacknowledged pages of the counterparts may be discarded and the remaining pages assembled as one document.

Related to SMOU

  • Panchayat means an institution (by whatever name called) of self-government constituted under article 243B, for the rural areas;

  • SORA means, in respect of any Singapore Business Day “i”, a reference rate equal to the daily Singapore Overnight Rate Average published by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (or a successor administrator), as the administrator of the benchmark, on the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s website currently at http://www.mas.gov.sg, or any successor website officially designated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (or as published by its authorised distributors) (the “Relevant Screen Page”) on the Singapore Business Day immediately following such Singapore Business Day “i”; and

  • CORA means the Colorado Open Records Act, §§24-72-200.1 et. seq., C.R.S.

  • WADA means the World Anti-Doping Agency.

  • Tabarru ” means donation for the purpose of solidarity and cooperation among the Takaful Participants and to be used to help all Takaful Participants in times of misfortune. In the context of the Company, Tabarru’ will be allocated into the Participants’ Risk Fund.
