Smart Hands definition

Smart Hands means a support engineer able to follow practical instructions (where required) from the Company’s technical personnel who are guiding the engineer remotely to implement a resolution;
Smart Hands means the performance of Customer directed requests as set forth in Iron Mountain’s Smart Hands Request Catalog in the Customer Portal that are performed without systems access or login, testing or heavy physical labor.
Smart Hands means the operations resources at a data center that provide skilled support, typically for reporting visual aspects of Device states, reboots of Devices or other scripted operational duties.

Examples of Smart Hands in a sentence

  • Remote Hands and Smart Hands assistance will be provided upon submission by Licensee of a request for assistance.

  • Such technical support will consist of either or both of the following types of assistance, as designated on the Order Form: (1) Remote Hands Assistance (“Remote Hands”) and/or (2) Smart Hands Assistance (“Smart Hands”).

  • For Smart Hands, the Order Form must contain a method and procedure for work to be performed.

  • Smart Hands only consists of visual and physical support of hardware (i.e., no application support or access to Customer Data).

Smart Hands. Service. Should Customer choose to use the "Smart Hands" service offered by Equinix, Customer agrees to pay the agreed upon fees, subject to adjustment as set forth in Section 7. Equinix reserves the right to require that the Customer sign an additional agreement (to be mutually agreed to) relating to such service. The only obligation of Equinix with respect to its "Smart Hands" service shall be to carry out the express instructions of Customer. Equinix reserves the right to require that instructions be given in additional detail and/or in writing (which may be by electronic mail). In the event that Equinix fails to correctly carry out the express instructions of Customer, the sole remedy shall be, at the option of Equinix, to not charge Customer for the service not correctly performed or to correct the work.
Smart Hands. Iron Mountain’s service level objective is to acknowledge Smart Hands requests within thirty (30) minutes of such request.
Smart Hands means the Customer provides on-site resources to follow BT instructions to make changes that require a physical present and cannot be completed remotely by BT.
