SLARI definition

SLARI means the Recipient’s national center of specialization responsible for research.
SLARI means the Recipient’s institute responsible for agricultural research, established and operating pursuant to Sierra Leone Agricultural Research Institute Act, Act No. 25 of 2007 of the Laws of the Recipient, or any successor thereto.

  • Small Grants under Part 2.1 of the Project shall be managed and monitored by SLARI pursuant to the provisions of the Project Implementation Manual and within the framework of the AWP&B, and shall be made available to Beneficiaries through SLARI on the basis of the specific Research Proposals previously validated by the PCU and included and approved in the AWP&B to finance an amount not exceeding the total estimated cost of the activities it will finance.

  • For the purpose of carrying out the eligible capacity building activities (“Eligible Activities”) under Parts C.5, C.6 and C.7 of the Project, the Recipient shall provide capacity building grants (individually, “Capacity Building Grant” and collectively, “Capacity Building Grants”) to SLARI, SLeCAD and NAFFSL (“Participating Institutions”) in accordance with this agreement and the guidelines set out in the Project Implementation Manual.

  • Seaplane means a fixed wing aircraft which is designed for taking off and landing on water and includes amphibians operated as seaplanes;

  • Panchayat means an institution (by whatever name called) of self-government constituted under article 243B, for the rural areas;

  • SORA means, in respect of any Singapore Business Day “i”, a reference rate equal to the daily Singapore Overnight Rate Average published by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (or a successor administrator), as the administrator of the benchmark, on the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s website currently at http://www.mas.gov.sg, or any successor website officially designated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (or as published by its authorised distributors) (the “Relevant Screen Page”) on the Singapore Business Day immediately following such Singapore Business Day “i”; and

  • Roomer means a person occupying a dwelling unit that lacks a major bathroom or kitchen facility, in a structure where one or more major facilities are used in common by occupants of the dwelling unit and other dwelling units. Major facility in the case of a bathroom means toilet, or either a bath or shower, and in the case of a kitchen means refrigerator, stove or sink.

  • MOHLTC means the Minister or the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, as the context requires;
