Skipping definition

Skipping is defined as missing an entire class or most of the class without permission of the parent or guardian and Administration. A student is truant when she is absent from school or class without the permission of her parent or guardian, or when she leaves the school premises at any time during the school day without the permission of the Administration. Three (3) percentage points will be deducted from the student’s final semester grade average for any classes missed. Violating this policy will result in four (4) consecutive after-school detentions and suspension from extracurricular participation until all four detentions are served. The detention will begin the day after the violation occurs or is discovered. Continuous disregard of this policy will result in permanent removal from extracurricular activities.
