Site Seal definition

Site Seal means a hyperlinked graphic provided by QuoVadis to a Verified Identity for display on the Subject’s website.
Site Seal means a hyperlinked graphic provided by Network Solutions to a Subscriber for display on the Subscriber's Website that certifies to visitors to a Subscriber's Website that the Website has been scanned for vulnerabilities. When visitors click on the Site Seal, it generally will indicate the date and time of the last successful vulnerability scan;
Site Seal means a hyperlinked graphic provided by Network Solutions to a Subscriber for display on the Subscriber's Web site that identifies the Subscriber as the holder of a Network Solutions Digital Certificate and/or having been properly vetted as a valid entity as defined in this CPS. A Network Solutions Site Seal can be a Network Solutions Secure Site Seal or a Network Solutions Assured Site Seal.

Examples of Site Seal in a sentence

  • Subscriber shall not (a) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the Site Seal, (b) sell, lease, license, transfer, give possession of, or sublicense the Site Seal or any documentation to others, or (c) write or develop any derivative or other software programs based in whole or in part upon the Site Seal.

  • Subscriber agrees that it will not, directly or indirectly, copy the Site Seal except as is necessary to install on Subscriber's applicable web site.

  • In addition to the provisions of Section 7, GeoTrust may, in its sole discretion, revoke Subscriber’s right to use the Site Seal at any time and Subscriber shall promptly cease use of the Site Seal on Subscriber’s web site(s).

  • Upon the revocation or cancellation of the Certificate or termination of this Agreement for any reason, Subscriber shall have no right in and shall not use the Certificate in any manner and shall remove the Site Seal from Subscriber’s website.

  • This Agreement is effective immediately upon your use of or reliance on a QuoVadis authentication product or service, such as when your TLS/SSL-enabled device is presented with a Certificate or when you access a website displaying an authentic QuoVadis Site Seal.

  • During this time, you are permitted to continue displaying the nsProtect™ Safe Site Seal on the Website.

  • For Site Seals, this includes verifying the Site Seal’s authenticity and validity directly with QuoVadis and receiving a clear confirmation that the Subject was and remains authorized to display or use the Site Seal.

  • If this Agreement is terminated by ▇▇▇.▇▇▇ for any reason, ▇▇▇.▇▇▇ may (in the event that a Subscriber's Site Seal has not already been revoked) revoke the Subscriber's Site Seal without further notice to the Subscriber and the Subscriber shall pay any amounts due to ▇▇▇.▇▇▇ under this Agreement.

  • If the problem is not fixed within this 7 day period, Network Solutions may revoke or suspend the nsProtect™ Safe Site Seal.

  • For Site Seals, this includes verifying the Site Seal’s authorization and validity directly with DigiCert and receiving a clear confirmation that the Subject was and remains authorized to display or use the Site Seal.

Site Seal means a logo or trademark provided by DigiCert for use on a website that is associated with a domain using a DigiCert SSL Certificate.
Site Seal means a hyperlinked graphic provided by DigiCert to a Subscriber for display on the Subscriber’s Web site that identifies the Subscriber as the holder of a Certificate and that DigiCert has confirmed the Subscriber's identity in accordance with the standards set forth in the CPS. "SSL-enabled device" shall mean client-side software and hardware used by a Relying Party that must be able to properly perform digital signature verification, certificate revocation checking, validation of Certificate Chains, and other operations that the Internet Engineering Task Force states are necessary to establish an authenticated and encrypted session between a Subscriber's server-side device and the Relying Party's system. "SSL/TLS-encrypted session" shall mean a device-to-device state of communication using the Secure Sockets Layer v.3 or Transport Layer Security v.1 cryptographic protocol, which is established when the Relying Party's SSL-enabled device (a) verifies that the Subscriber's Certificate is valid, (b) verifies that DigiCert's Public Key will validate the digital signature on the Certificate, (c) verifies that the domain name in the Certificate matches the actual domain name being used by the Subscriber, and (d) uses the Subscriber's Public Key obtained from the Certificate to encrypt a master key and sends it to the Subscriber to create a session key that is used to encrypt communication during the session.

The Network Solutions site sends to the user's browser over the SSL-encrypted link a message indicating the results of the verification along with other information. The response from the Network Solutions site can be displayed on the user's browser as a graphic or Webpage (that can include client-executable code) containing information about the organization or person to whom the Site Seal pertains and the result of the requested verification. The Site Seal accompanies any issued Network Solutions SSL Certificate and shares the guarantee level associated with the SSL Certificate it accompanies. Site Seal means the HydrantID certification ▇▇▇▇ bearing the words “HydrantID” and “Secured Site”, including any code that HydrantID may provide or make available to You for use in connection with such Site Seal. When displayed on Your Website, the Site Seal indicates that You hold a valid HydrantID SSL Certificate and links to a Security Report.
