SIMAR slopes definition

SIMAR slopes means the man-made slopes registered in the SIMAR database set up by the Lands Department (LandsD) to identify the maintenance responsibility of every sizable man-made slope registered in the Catalogue of Slopes. “SIMAR” refers to the study called the “Systematic Identification of Maintenance Responsibility of Man-made Slopes in Hong Kong” carried out by LandsD in 1996.
