Sidewalk elevator definition
Sidewalk elevator means an elevator of the freight type a device with on-car controls for the raising or lowering of materials operating between a landing in a sidewalk or other exterior area and floors below the sidewalk or grade level and that opens onto the exterior area through a horizontal opening.
