Side-ground definition

Side-ground means data, databases, data products and data related tools or any other intellectual property rights generated at the same time the access activities at the Central Facilities or National Facilities take place but which are not generated as part of the access activities.
Side-ground means data, databases, data products, data related tools and software or any other intellectual property rights which are not generated for ACTRIS by the Central Facilities and National Facilities but are created in parallel to it.
Side-ground means the results, including data, know-how and information, whether or not they can be protected, which are generated by a participant under the project but outside of the project objectives and which are not needed for undertaking and completing the project or the research use of foreground;
