Short Form Notices definition

Short Form Notices means the Short Form Notices substantially in the form as attached hereto as Exhibit 12 and 13.
Short Form Notices means the short-form notices substantially in the form agreed upon by the Parties for the Pre-Approval Notices. The Short-Form Notices shall be in English for National Class Members and in both English and French for Quebec Class Members.
Short Form Notices means the short form notices of the proposed class action settlement, substantially in the form as shown in Exhibits B-1 and B-2 attached hereto. The Short Form Notice will direct recipients to the Settlement Website and inform Settlement Class Members of, among other things, the Claims Deadline, the Opt-Out and Objection Deadlines, and the date of the Final Fairness.

Examples of Short Form Notices in a sentence

  • The Claims Administrator need make only one attempt to resend any Short Form Notices that are returned as undeliverable.

  • For any Short Form Notices that are returned undeliverable, the Claims Administrator shall use reasonable efforts to identify updated mailing addresses and resend the Short Form Notice to the extent updated addresses are identified.

  • In addition, the Class Action Settlement Administrator shall: (a) re-mail promptly any Short Form Notices returned by the United States Postal Service with a forwarding address; and (b) by itself or using one or more address research firms, as soon as practicable following receipt of any returned Short Form Notices that do not include a forwarding address, research such returned mail for better addresses and promptly mail copies of the applicable notice to any better addresses so found.

  • Class Notice will be accomplished through a combination of the Short Form Notices, notice through the Settlement Website, Long Form Notice, and other applicable notice, each of which is described below, as specified in the Preliminary Approval Order and this Agreement and in order to comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to, Fed.

  • The Class Action Settlement Administrator shall complete the mailing of Short Form Notices to class members no later than fifty-one (51) days after Preliminary Approval.

  • For each individual Short Form Notice that is returned as undeliverable, the Claim Administrator shall remail all Short Form Notices where a forwarding address has been provided.

  • For the remaining undeliverable Short Form Notices where no forwarding address is provided, the Claim Administrator shall perform an advanced address search (e.g., a skip trace) and re-mail any undeliverable Short Form Notices to the extent any new and current addresses are located.

  • To the extent that any Short Form Notices are returned because an individual or entity who is in the Settlement Class does not reside at the address provided, the Settlement Administrator shall take reasonable steps to obtain a valid address and re-mail or email the Short Form Notice.

  • Beginning not later than thirty (30) days after Preliminary Approval, the Class Action Settlement Administrator shall send the Short Form Notices in postcard format, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit 2, by U.S. Mail, proper postage prepaid, to members of the Class identified using Defendants’ customer transaction databases.

Short Form Notices or “Postcard Notices” means the short form notice of the Settlement mailed to Settlement Class Members, substantially in the form as shown in Exhibit C attached hereto.
