Shift Leaders definition

Shift Leaders are persons selected and appointed by the Employer to assume overall responsibility for the efficient and effective operation of an entire work unit, or for off-shift responsibility for a number of work units, including the scheduling, co-ordination of a number of employees including one or more leaders, safety and plant security.

Examples of Shift Leaders in a sentence

  • When Shift Leaders are transferred to the position of Dispatcher, the employee will no longer receive the $3000 wage increase for Shift Leader.

  • Regular, full-time employees classified as Dispatcher and Shift Leaders employed at the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County 911 Dispatch Center.

  • Shift Leaders will receive $3,000 above the employee’s current annual wage.

  • The Company will select Shift Leaders and Leadhands from those qualified in the job classification for which the Shift Leader or Leadhand is required.

  • Management shall consider input and reports from Shift Leaders when making disciplinary decisions.
