Shift 3 definition

Shift 3 means a work shift that occurs primarily during the nighttime hours including, but not limited to, an 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. shift.
Shift 3. Eve shift starts on or after 2:15 PM and ends at 10:15 PM.

Examples of Shift 3 in a sentence

  • For the purposes of this Section, the night shift of the calendar day preceding the actual date of the regular holiday shall be considered Shift #1, the day shift of the regular holiday shall be Shift #2 and the p.m. shift of the regular holiday shall be Shift #3.

  • Shift #1, Shift #2, Shift #3 and Shift #4 employees will work shift schedules as outlined in Article 5.07.

  • Employees on Shift 3 are paid Shift 3 rates for the entire shift.

  • Shift 3: Employees scheduled to report to work at or after 1800, but before 0500, are 10 on Shift 3.

  • Shift 3: Employees scheduled to report to work at or after 1800, but before 0600, 14 are on Shift 3, and are paid Shift 3 rates for the entire shift.

  • The regular eight (8) hour shifts shall be as follows: Shift 1 (Night Shift) - 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Shift 2 (Day Shift) - 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Shift 3 (Afternoon Shift) - 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The regular twelve (12) hour shifts shall be as follows; Back Shift - 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Day Shift - 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The above times may be changed by mutual agreement of both parties.

  • Day Shift: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. – 20 minutes paid lunch period and/or 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. – 20 minutes paid lunch period and/or 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – 20 minutes paid lunch period Afternoon Shift: 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. – 20 minutes paid lunch period.

  • Afternoon Shift: 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. – 20 minutes paid lunch period.

  • There shall be three (3) shifts for scheduling and overtime purposes; Shift #1 from 4:00 a.m. to 11:59 a.m., Shift #2 from 12:00 Noon to 7:59 p.m. and Shift #3 from 8:00 p.m. to 3:59 a.m.

  • The workweek begins with Shift 1 on Sunday and ends with Shift 3 on Saturday.
