Shareholders’ Fund definition

Shareholders’ Fund has the meanings assigned to such term in the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Preparation of Financial Statements and Auditor's Report of Insurance Companies) Regulations, 2002 and the circulars and guidelines issued thereunder;

Examples of Shareholders’ Fund in a sentence

  • Any deficit in the Risk Fund would be met through an interest free loan (Qard) from the Shareholders’ Fund.

  • Fees and costs to be paid by the Shareholders shall be paid from the Shareholders’ Fund, and if such Fund shall be insufficient to pay such fees and costs owed by the Shareholders in full, such fees and costs may, in the sole discretion of Parent, be paid from the Escrow Fund or the Shareholders (severally and not jointly, in accordance with their Pro Rata Shares), and, for the avoidance of doubt, in either such case, the Basket Amount shall not apply to such fees and costs).

  • For the avoidance of doubt, the Shareholder Agent may, at any time in the Shareholder Agent’s sole discretion, direct the Escrow Agent to distribute funds from the Shareholders’ Fund to the Paying Agent for distribution to the Shareholders, provided that any such distribution shall be made on the basis of each Shareholder’s Pro Rata Share in the Shareholders’ Fund.
