ShapID definition
ShapID means either a South African registered cellphone number only (as a default ShapID), or a cellphone number joined with a bank’s name (i.e ‘CellphoneNumber@BankName’), which is directly linked to a bank account nominated by You; and
ShapID means a PayShap registered cellphone number or ‘cellphone number@bankname’, including Capitec ShapID
ShapID means an alternative and unique means of identification that can be used instead of your account number to receive a PayShap Payment. A ShapID consists of either your cellphone number only, or your cellphone number joined with the Bank’s name (i.e. cellphone number @FNB or cellphone number @RMB) which is directly linked to your nominated bank account. A ShapID is limited to account holders who are individuals only.
